Rooms are clean and staff always willing to help with whatever they can. The pool area and hot tubs are nice and clean. Not much open in the area during the winter months unless you drive to Boulder Junction, or other area towns. The lodge is classic log style and the rooms in pine wood which adds to the experience. The casino didn't pay off as well as we'd liked, but thats gambling. Able to play and not get "killed" on the machines. The casino is smoking which is a draw back, but non-smoking is the way to go. A large variety of "new" type machines and some good bar drink specials at night. All in all nice to visit as we passed through. " More >

  "I recently took a trip here with my two kids and some of my extended family who also brought kids. Before the trip I was concerned that my kids would be frustrated and bored but I was wrong. The hotel was lovely and welcoming to me and my kids. The pool and hot tub area was fantastic! We had pi..."zza in our room in the eveving and when the kids were asleep most of the adults went to spend time in the casino. The next morning we all went to the breakfast buffet. We were amazed at the fresh as you want them egg and omelet station along with a fresh french toast and pancake station. My family went away full and happy. I was impressed with the value. " More >
