  "My husband, two sons and I stayed here at The Paradise Motel just a couple weeks ago, it was FANTASTIC! Everytime I come to the Dell's I stay at The Paradise Motel. What I look for when I go to the Dell's is a nice place to stay-where we can sleep, shower and keep our things. It has to be clo..."se to everything, fair priced and family friendly. The Paradise Motel is this place! It's clean, right on the strip-we walked almost everywhere we went. The room was perfect for our family, it had a microwave and a very nice sized refridgerator, the AC got nice and cold, it had a t.v. with cable, and two beds. The water while showering fantastic it would get nice and hot and stay that way for all four of us to shower. Family friendly, there was a playground right by our room and by the pool there is another play area, the pool has a diving board and a slide. Vera the lady who runs the place is so awesome!   "Just came home from a 3 night stay at the Colonial Motel in the Dells. We usually go to the Dells about twice a year. And almost always stay at the large hotels (such as the Wilderness and Kalahari) but wanted something a little cheaper and wanted to go for the downtown experience. I excepted a de..."cent place to just rest our heads at the end of the day. I looked on trip advisor as I always do and wasn't sure if I would be happy. Boy was I wrong. We didn't want to leave. The owners were very nice. The place is older, smaller... but cleaner than any of the large hotels. The grounds are extremely well taken care of. No cigarette butts or trash sitting around. The rooms are well taken care of. Nothing fancy, just a nice clean place. Only complaint was we could've really used a small refridgerator. The pool was a little chilly when the sun set, but no complaining from us. We didn't even expect to use it much since we had many other plans. But we used it each day for at least an hour or tw... Would be good if they updated the GPS location with Nokia, Bing and Google to hit the actual property, not the sign on the nearby road. Tom Tom was the closest to correct. It is setback just a little, not hard to find but needed a quick turn around to hit the right driveway. We were able to get AAA room rate, which helped too. " More >
