  "We stayed two nights in this conversion of a historic bank to a boutique hotel. We were greeted at check-in by the owner of the hotel who also made a dinner reservation for us. The room is well appointed with a king size bed and king sized furniture. The room has a kind of honeymoon suite feel to it. There is a wine refrigerator on the desk. A couple of wine glasses and corkscrew are provided, you bring the wine. Better yet, purchase your wine in the lobby, the hotel owner is also a vintner. Water is a concern in New Mexico as there has been a severe two year drought but, drought or no drought, the shower has two shower heads that run even when only one person is in the shower.   "Wonderful campground. Clean, quiet, away from town. Best Campground near Carlsbad. Although it was full nearly every night, it was quiet and clean. For around $14 you can get a delicious barbeque dinner delivered to your site. We ate at Lucy's in Carlsbad and it was not nearly as good. We rente..."d a cabin with a bathroom and sink. The cabin would definitely not accommodate handicapped - bathroom entry was small but they do a have a handicap cabin. If you have a wheel chair check that one out. I loved this campground and hated to leave. The only drawback was it is 50 minutes from the caverns. We checked out other RV parks and cabins but this one was the best hands down. Highly recommend it, friendly staff, quite, and quiet. The only drawback was it was 14 miles to Carlsbad and 50 minutes to the caverns. It is closer tho to Sitting Bull Falls than other places. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Carlsbad Caverns. " More >

  "This was a good value stay.. I like how there is no pet fee. I got the room I wanted and it was clean. The only thing was it was over 100 degrees outside and their pool was closed due to needing to be inspected and it was like that for a while. My 3 year old was so disappointed."
