Our suite was “funky” (not a shower in the bathtub, but rather a bathtub in the shower! Go figure!), c..."ommodious, and colorful, with every amenity this experienced and (ahem) demanding traveler could dream of. Though the hotel was bustling, with a popular rooftop bar and a wine tasting in the lobby every afternoon, at night there wasn’t a peep and sleeping conditions were ideal — not always the case in a city hotel. Our room overlooked the nexus of the historic district; its corner location could not have been more perfect. The Kimpton brand suggests a range of style and quality. Room and bathroom were small by American standards but suited us fine for 3 nights of resting tired feet. Our room was in..." the back of the building so no view to speak of but was completely free of noise from street or other guests. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, but there are tons of places to eat, drink or shop at every price point within a few steps of the front door and a Starbucks right across the street.
