Large room (superior) with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Tweaks: The room was somewhat soulless. Breakfast is served at the table but it is the same every morning and it is expensive (€15 pp) – in my opinion a buffet of the same quality food as served would be better value and to have more choice/variety. I'd have no problem recommending the hotel and overall I think a good rating but with a few tweaks here and there then very good. As for Plasencia, it has much more to offer than first impressions – visit the Cathedral, the Ethnografic Museum, Palacio de Mirabel, Parque los Pinos and have tea in the Parador. " More >

The hotel building is still beautiful but, better still, the levels of staff satisfaction and concomitant customer service levels have noticeably improved in he last year. Prices for bar drinks seem quite competitive when compared to the bars in the Plaza in Plasencia. Breakfast is very good and rooms are nice. The garage parking is entertaining for claustrophobics as it involves a trip in a lift, in the car, so be warned. " More >
