  "I absolutely LOVE the Grand Wailea! The service is fantastic and the hotel, pool and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are large, very comfortable and have a classic-Hawaiian vibe to them. It could use an update, but I think its part of the charm. The place does get very crowded - its a pretty ch..."aotic scene trying to secure a chair at the pool during the summer months. But if you get there a little before 7am to get your wrist bands and secure a seat, you're good to go. People basically drop their stuff and run off to breakfast or wherever, which we're also guilty of but we do return as soon as we're done to avoid bad pool etiquette. There are chair hoggers and some aggressive people so beware, but aside from that, its no big deal. We got to see Britney Spears in the lazy river during our 4th of July trip last year!   "We had a lovely time here. Pools are OK but tend to get very full quickly. Quick tip, walk down to the beach and enjoy the real thing. You can walk down the coast a long way and it beautiful. Don't pay for in room WiFi just use the free Starbucks WiFi in reception. Shops are right next door ."
