  "Lots has been said about the wildlife and the presence or absence of the animals so I shan't say much about that. That's just nature... Animal sightings are luck of the draw! :) I will say however that the diversity of the animals here is unbeatable. We saw sloths, 6 species of monkey, snakes, birds..."-a-plenty, caiman, coatis and more tree frogs than can be counted! We stayed in cabana 16 which is right by the edge of the grounds. The room was large, airy and well maintained. Some people have issues with the tannin coloured bath water, but rest assured it caused us no problems. The windows have bug screens and no window per se which allows for lots of natural ventilation. 24hr electricity and a good fan was all that we needed. For those who are worried about the bugs, worry not. The lodge itself is relatively mosquito-free. There will be some bugs of course... but in general, the cabanas and the common areas were fine. We toured this area as well as Quito and Galapagos - by far this place has the best service and food.
