We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and were told over the phone that this was their nicest room – the “Presidential Suite,” as the placard nex..."t to the door proclaimed. As the town was expecting a blizzard that night, we looked forward to a cozy evening with a fireplace. We were disappointed by this room. The fireplace didn’t work, and when I called down to the desk to see if there was another suite with a fireplace available, I was told simply “no.” The view from the one large window was straight into another window in an empty building several feet away. We kept the curtains closed. In the separate sitting area was a sofa, coffee table, desk, tv, and mini-fridge.
