The positives were that there was plenty of space and it had a nice layout for 2 friends traveling together. The air conditioning was appreciated and I didn’t notice about not having hot water because a cold shower is all you will ever want here. The beds had mosquito nets, they worked and we used them! The nets were appreciated not so much for mosquitos but for all of the other bugs, which included giant ants, cockroaches and some kind of alien looking beetle that enjoys dive bombing intruders.   "Stayed at Casa Canada for just over 2 weeks and loved my cabana overlooking the infinity pool and ocean. Stayed at other places and traveled to Little Corn and was appreciative to get back to my Cabana with hot water(a rarity on corn island) and a/c with a full fridge of cold Tona's(local beer) Room..." was cleaned daily to a higher standard then I found elsewhere on the islands which to me was important.On Corn island Casa Canada is the closest thing one can get to a 4 star North American hotel on a island where 2 to 3 star is the norm at best. Kendy the barman was extremely helpful and always friendly which made cooling off with a few cold Tona's even more enjoyable on hot afternoons and evenings. Cocktail here were also very good with a large selection on offer as well as champagne, wine and other imported drinks not easily found at other restaurants and hotels.
