  "A pleasant hotel located on the 2nd floor above a Pizzeria. The staff were very friendly and the owner's Grandson spoke excellent English. I was using my Netbook with Google translate to make myself understood until he showed up. I needed secure parking for the bike and they have a Car Wash Garage o..."pposite where my bike was securely locked away for the 2 nights I was here. The food in the Restaurant on the 1st floor, above the Pizzeria, was excellent but they don't understand "Dessert" nor do they have any vegetables to speak of. You can order a salad but I prefer hot food when I'm travelling as cooking kills bugs. My only criticism is that you should stay away on a Saturday night. Karaoke echoes through the building like a tormented ghost and there was a party of some sort that seemed to involve juggling billiard tables directly above my room.   "Last April I spend one week during a Business Trip at the New Chagala Hotel in Atyrau. The rooms are very comfortable and are at the level of Western Hotels standards. Some comments : - Location In Atyrau the original Chagala is next to the river. This is older than the New Chagala. The New ..."Chagala is just 2 blocks away. It is a complex of 3 buildings. I stayed in the main building, The hotel is just 200 meters from the AKCO and NCPOC offices, which are at walking distance, being this very convenient in Business Trips. - Reception When I arrived, the lady in reception was very friendly. My booking had been made via AKCO, and my room was ready, It included Breakfast and dinner, which was convenient also. - Room The rooms have very good space , including a small living room and a fully equipped kitchenette . There are 2 flat screen TVs in the room, one in the living room and another in the room. There are plenty of channels in the TV, including many in Italian, English ,... " More >
