  "My wife and I were lucky enough to stay at Dimora Buonriposo for three nights during our honeymoon. It was simply the most wonderful few days of our holiday. The accommodation is utterly stunning, there are superb facilities (infinity pool, hot-tub), elegant and refined rooms (we stayed in the Imper..."io room) and truly jaw-dropping, breathtaking views of the Val D'Orcia. But, what really made our stay were the hosts - Antimo and Marco. They were charming, friendly and helpful - true Italian hospitality. They kindly arranged an excellent Tuscan horse-riding trek and spa entry, provided excellent restaurant recommendations and throughout were kind and gracious, enhancing our stay (not to mention Antimo's glorious cappuccinos each morning!) The moment we arrived we knew we had stumbled across somewhere rare, un-spoiled and magical.   "Sarteano is a great location for seeing the rest of Tuscany and for experiencing "la dolce vita" in a small town. The people of Sarteano are very nice and helpful. The owner, Leonardo was especially helpful wit the apartment. Keep in mind that this is an old "medioeval" apartment, so it can feel a ..."bit cold at times (although there is a fireplace for the winter and I'm sure it's nice and cool in the summer). Our hosts and owner, Luca, his lovely wife, Natasha and little Petra made us feel like part of the family. He told us of out of way places that don't show up in guide books, but also told us places we could miss. There are just three rooms, so book early, but be aware there is no elevator and rooms are on the third and forth floors. (However, we're in our 70s and didn't find it a problem). Our room faced the square where you could through open the shutters and see village life below, but the only thing you hear are church bells chimming.
