Ramscheid is a small place so everything is close there, but other bigger cities (e.g. Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, Köln...) are only half, one and a half hour trip away. The hotel is located on the edge of an industrial estate/business park in Remscheid and is conveniently located next to the Autobahn, for business travellers this is ideal, but the hotel may be less appealing for holiday makers. ..." In general the hotel is well lit, clean and tidy, but, the decor in the rooms is slightly dated, with lots of wood panelling. The quantity of towels in the bathroom is quite limited, the pillows on the bed are small, and the duvet is for one person only. There is a good selection of food available at breakfast and I would recommend the eggy bread. I would also recommend the pork schnitzel with stewed onions and fried egg as an evening meal accompanied by a glass of Warsteiner, which is available at the bar.
