Virginia, who checked us is after an overnight plane from Ethiopia and then a 2.5 hour train ride from Florence, spoke fine English and was helpful in answering all our question..."s. Staff the next day were warm but had almost no English skills (like my Italian skills). They were more than willing to store our luggage for the day after we had checked out but needed the day to tour Assisi before a late afternoon train. Our 2nd floor room with terrace was absolutely comfortable and roomy. It will always be our regret that we only had one night at Villa Raffaello Park.
