  "Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Park Resort, St.Margarets. Overall I was very impressed with the stay. The grounds are extremely well kept and the accommodation is spread out nicely. We were staying in a "bronze" standard chalet. If I'm honest I would have liked a higher standard, howev..."er as dog owners this is the only standard available to us. However the chalet was very clean, just in need of a good refurbishment. The staff were very helpful and a special thanks goes to Andy on reception who went the extra mile to find a more fussy member of our group who would only use a shower(only bath in chalet) ! He also recommended the breakfast and it was very nice ! Thanks Andy. Overall the site is very pleasant and we weren't subjected to any sales pitches. We were able to take some lovely dog walks along the white cliffs of Dover. " More >

  "Booked a couple of days away for my wife's 40th and was not disappointed at any stage. The welcome was spot on, just the right balance between friendliness and efficiency and we were immediately at ease. We upgraded to a 4 poster which was spacious and clean. The place is only 3 star I think due to ..."lack of a total refit which I think would destroy the charm and appeal. It was also more than comfy although a big fat arm chair or 2 in the bar would be great! The food was amazing too. We had scotch egg starter which was delicious and fillet steak for main which, being a man who has a 'top 5 steaks ever' list and has eaten in some pretty decent places around the world, knows what a good steak is and this came in at 2/3 on that list. The service again was just right. The location works really well and there's some great walks and great pubs very close by both road and walking.
