There are plenty of beaches and picturesque towns short car rides (30mins-60 mins) away. A car is a must but, it is an incredibly relaxing place and although the property isn't huge the kids( and ours were 5-8) can ramble around the town after a day out safely. You can even grill fish on the bbq on the little roof terrace and watch the sun go down overlooking the town. I aim to return again. " More >

The weather was similar to ours with a touch more wind. The warmth of the home and the proprietors made exceptional difference : assistance with food locations,travel,research,and entertainment.   "My husband and cousin and I stayed at La Mimosa for a short visit to Trabia after finding it online. Our room was very spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom. The common room was also great, with everything you need to cook meals or prepare some coffee in the morning. It was a little cold in th..."e apartment during our stay, but it was March so kind of expected. The host was very kind and gracious, going above and beyond to make our stay great. He printed out some documents for us, drove us to the train station early in the morning, he was a great host. We appreciated his efforts very much! La Mimosa is not far from the train station, but up a hill (just an FYI so you can be prepared for the walk). Overall, we were very happy about our stay in La Mimosa. " More >
