The hotel grounds were lush and well kept and the whole hotel is well looked after. Set on the outskirts of Kalimaki which seemed to spread over a fair area, Meandros is a short ..."walk from the protected 'Loggerhead turtle beaches'. It was relatively quiet there, though we visited right at the beginning of the season. There were plenty of eateries around and the locals are extremely friendly, waving smiling and chatting to us. I have to say that though there was plenty of choice, we ate at the hotel. I thought the food at the hotel was good. There were staples which appeared every day - salad, Greek roast potatoes, cheeses but they were incredibly fresh and tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
