"We needed a little break away from the city me and my partner three weeks before our wedding. We had a very warm welcome from Tim who offered us a nice cup of tea in the lounge after showing us our room. The whole cottage was extremely clean and the outdoor space was beautifully looked after. In the..." morning Tim made us a scrumptious full English breakfast and three different types of home made jams. My favourite was his mum's marmalade but the elderflower and raspberry were also delicious. They should sell those jars !!! :-)
We also met Nigel who looks after the garden, all the fruits and veg, the hens and goats. Guess what !! The goats and hens are entertained by climbing up and down the stairs in which Michael Bubble once performed. What a story... you should ask them.
Our stay at the School Cottage was 10, 10, 10, across the board!!!!

"School cottages is a very pretty B&B with a great mix of character features but restored to have a more contemporary feel on the inside. I stayed at the B&B for several days whilst on a course in Farmborough. I had a double en-suite room which was beautifully decorated with a lovely modern bathroom ..."and great powerful shower. My room was spotless and was cleaned and supplied with tea, coffee and a bottle of water everyday. The B&B has a lovely sunny conservatory where you can have breakfast in the morning (supplied with fresh eggs from their own free range chickens) or for sitting in on a nice sunny evening. I can highly recommend the full English breakfast which was delicious. The B&B has a lovely garden and I especially loved the pygmy goats who are great to watch at play in the evenings. The owner Tim was really friendly and I loved staying there. I would highly recommend this B&B and have no complaints whatsoever.

"School Cottages is a truly superb Bed and Breakfast. We stayed there during the early May bank holiday and our experience was just fabulous. Tim (the host) was very welcoming, we've been served tea and biscuits upon arrival. The room was spotless, everything in order, super clean and very tidy. A th..."ree course breakfast was truly delicious with organic, local ingredients and even home made jams to accompany our toasts. The cottages are just fantastic, with a great garden to relax, all within 10-15 min drive from Bath through a charming countryside. I'd recommend this cottage without any hesitation!
