  "I was Travelling from Canada to Pakistan in Summer 2006 and had a chance to visit Muree before I left the country. I stayed and Shangrila Resort after going through about 6 or 7 hotels before i told the driver that i need a good hotel for the family not a grabage bin. Half of the hotels at the time ..."were under renovation which turned my mood off. So then the driver took us to Shangrila and let me tell you it was love in first sight. We booked it for a week since we were walkin and didn't had the reservation. We ended up with Top notch Room for the price of Rs6500. It was really amazing, no cars running around no noise, birds singing. It was a beautiful Resort. Any body visiting Muree I would suggest to visit this Resort. They had Generators so if the electricity went out you won't even feel that the power went out, running hot water, Full TV Cable. It was an amazing visit thank to these guys. If money is not a problem This is the Resort you want to stay at. " More >

  "Shangrila is trully the best hotel in the Murree area, I looked far and wide, all across Mall Road and other hotels in between, but none were as good as Shangrila, it was love at first site. The rooms were clean, and maintained everyday, the heating was excellent! The staff was friendly and help..."ful. The hidden secrect, the food though expensive, is one of the best you can have in Murree (the Pakistani dishes, for everything else I will recommend Usmania on the Mall Road). The play area for children on the top was good. The front lawn which had snow all over was wonderful to play in. The bathrooms are a bit congested consideing the family suite we were in. The beds in the family suite were good, but the double/king bed was made by combining two single beds, not so comfortable. The biggest downer, no internet in the rooms!!! I would like to request the owner (I see him communicating here) if he can look into this, this was my only (but biggest) dissapointment. " More >
