Some have complained that reception is not always open, I don't see the problem, we popped in to the attached restaurant, there are always staff there who are happy to help you. The staff were delightful, so pleased to see us back for the second visit! The village is a real and non-touristy place with a baker and gocery store, friendly little cafe on the waterfront, the ferry calls once a day in each direction and there are 4 or 5 trains a day from the local station. If you happen to have a couple of little kids prone to tumble down stairwells, your holidays will be considerably complicated. Also, on arrival (and in spite of the hefty price) the cleanliness of the flat was somewhat superficial. Finally, those who furnished the flat had no eye for details: There is no point in having an outdoor table on the balcony if it interferes with the facile opening and closing of the shutters; the bathroom on the first floor was unfinished; we had plenty of towels for the ...
