The place is also great: it is very quiet, sunny, overlooking the sea and mountains, close to supermarkets and other shops, 1km by foot to nice pebble beach or 10km by car to great sandy beach of Benidorm. But there are some problems that really can't spoil the holiday, but make you to feel some disturbed. The hotels owner Thomas (not forgetting his father Antonio) and the exceptionally pleasant & allways willing to assist "Rita" really made us feel important as clients, unlike many hotels that we have resided with over the years. On the evening of our arrival which was after 10 pm,..." we were greeted by Antonio who kindly insisted that we relax in the lovely reception area and provided us with a glass of Cava and a beautifully chilled strawberry covered with chocolate before taking our cases up to our room. The room was amazing and had a small balcony toward the front of the hotel, this provided a view of the old town church high on the left hand side and the beautiful mountain range on the right hand side, the perfect start to our holiday in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Personnel is very friendly and helpful (especially the young man and the woman in the restaurant). Breakfast is very good with lots of choices (meat/cheese/cereals/bread/delicious croissants...). 2 times we had dinner there and food was excellent, so was the red wine.. The mattress on the bed however was too hard for us and the towels in the bathroom could use some softener. We can certainly recommend this hotel for a stay of ± 5 nights. " More >
