Each room has its own bathroom, A/C, ceiling fan, TV, and bed with mosquito netting. My bed was the most disappointing part of my stay at the Chez. It had a futon matress that was too thin and became unconfortable to sleep on. Mr. Razzak and his staff are very helpful. Mr. Razzak is fluent in English and will communicate needs of the guests to the staff. I rarely locked my room because of the security of the location and the staff honesty.   "We stayed two nights in Chez Razzak Service (guest house) at Naodapara, the outskirt of Rajshahi City almost in a village where plenty of trees and plants are preserved including Orange plants which is rare in Bangladesh except Sylhet and hill tracts. But this one is for value for money. There is a training centre enough for 15 to 20 persons training. Food is homely bengali type and need to order early, breakfast is free. If you like to stay in a natural environment in Rajshahi, it is recommended , you will see and hear many birds and hear howling of jackals at night. Howling of jackals bring good luck - such is the belief of Bengali farmers. Winter ( November to March) is good time to tour about Bangladesh but if you are a mango lover - summer ( May-August) is the best time to have the best quality mango... " More >

  "Chez Razzak is hosted by a personable and hospitable Bangladeshi, who loves a good chat. He is very proud of what he has achieved in developing the guesthouse for foreigners in Rajshahi. It comes highly recommended in both Bangladeshi guidebooks we read and was chosen for us by friends of friends...." Our twin beds were awfully uncomfortable and it was bitingly cold there in the unusually harsh winter weather. We longed for the shower in the ensuite to produce warm water but had to cope with less than lukewarm at the best. We appreciated the simple food prepared by the staff. The best aspect of the service here was that Mr Razzak let us use the computer in the admin area to upload photos and check our mail. He also arranged car and driver for us to get to the border to cross over into India. This was very much appreciated. " More >
