  "We stayed in a garden view bungalow 4 nights and 1 night in a seaview one. Actually we prefered the garden view because there was air conditioned so you can enjoy the waves sounds when sleeping while in the sea view we had there were only a fan quite noisy. Sleep under the mosquito net with the fan ..."was not enough for us to get fresh air. The wifi was good but only at the reception and be aware that the bungalows are quite "open" for insects... But bungalows on the beach are bungalows on the beach... So we were aware of that... The breakfast were really good, different every morning but each delicious. If you are really ungry I do not know if you can ask for more but it is more about quality than quantity. The atmosphere is really good and te owners make their best to make your stay good!   "We came here to dive, and this is a great place for that. It was not our first choice, we wanted to go to sipadan, but with recent dangers there, we decided it wasn't worth the risk. We heard from others while at Swiss Cottage that diving better in Indonesia, so we probably won't go back to Tioman. ..." But if going to Tioman, this is the place. Easy trip from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. They have good, inexpensive dive equipment, so no need to bring your own. We did, but if went again wouldn't take the trouble. No need for wetsuit--really! Or at least no more than a shortie. Rooms ok. Strange bathroom/ shower next to toilet but works well. No pool. Pretty hot, but we were fine without AC. Do get seaview room, with hammock. Much better than the terrace or garden rooms. Must bring your own top sheet! None provided. Pillows variable, ours were foam, but my mom in terrace room had a down pillow. Breakfast included, but sparse. No decaf. Tough for vegan, even though I told them in advan... " More >

  "4 of us stayed in a garden view room and a sea view room. The flush of the toilet didn't work well for the sea view room. There was air conditioning and a mosquito net for the garden room but it didn't stop the mosquitoes from getting to us. It's a cat-friendly resort. At any time you look, ther..."e's bound to be a cat somewhere. They currently have 16. Breakfast is included and homemade. We had apple pancakes and roti canai. Service at the reception and elsewhere was excellent. I loved the half-day snorkeling trip they provided. It is extremely value for money and the sea view rooms come with a nice view. " More >
