  "This is an unusual hotel in some ways. It is in a quiet but very scenic spot on the coast. Really is a place for chilling out and just relaxing. Family run and this shows in the caring nature of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Hotel facilities are good but basic. It is the sister hotel of..." the San Luis a couple of hundred yards away. This has a full animacion programme which S'algar guests are entitled to use but we never found the need. Too busy relaxing by the sea. There is a good seaside pool and cafe. A tip is to stay in one of the apartments owned by the hotel. Stay on the front row for a great view of the crashing waves on opening the curtains in the morning. These were being refurbished when we were there so suspect the price will be going up! Restaurant is very good. Buffet service with a good choice of food. Go early to get the sea view tables. Highly recommended " More >

  "Pretty much all at S'Algar is good, bit out of the way, but we wanted peace and quiet. Not enough info on the walks to close by bays and restaurants which are good. Only slight criticism was that you really needed to be at the evening meal early to get the best cooking and choice. But we would go ag..."ain.   "The rooms are very comfortable, and well furnished. The rooms can be noisy as the walls. Are thin. Excellent food with plenty of choices. all common area's are open with no quiet space's.
