Slight hiccup as I asked the manager Mr Rajeev Shukla for help in booking a taxi from Kathgodam to the hotel, he said they usually do not make any pick up or drop arrangements and can at best ask taxi agencies. The plus points - Lovely location, it is truly isolated and in the forest. There are really no other habitations for miles. - Food is very tasty, calorie-heavy, and bit expensive. There is no way to figure out what they have charged, so paid it and closed the issue. (2 adults + 2 small kids, ate 2 dinners and 2 lunches each, charged for 6 lunches and 6 dinners. Go figure ! ) - Beds & mattresses are comfortable, Selection of books is decent - Staff are helpful and warm. The minus point - The loo is almost non-functional.
