  "It was our first skiholiday in Sweden and our expectation were low, as we are used to the Alps. So here is our summary. We were surprised how big the rooms were. We had 2 small suitcases and 2 bags for the skiingstuff and we had still enough room to walk from the bedroom to the bathroom. Definite..."ly a plus! The room had an own wardrobe for the skiboots with a heating system. The bathroom was big enough for two people standing inside. The hotel itself has seen better times and we think it's at a point were a renovation would be necessary. But that's a personal impression. The hotel has a lot of restaurants and we could definitely recommend the Grill Room. It's nice that you don't have to walk long to the restaurant after a day of skiing. The ski run right in front of the hotel is not really challenging, but very good for beginners. The next skiing resort - Lindvallen and Tandådalen - are only 10min by car.   "We stayed in this cozy friendly place for a 3 nights stay recently. They are a sister hotel to the large Högfjällshotellet which is more of a party place. 500 m between them you can still use the facilities at the large complex as sauna, pool meet restaurants etc. The rooms are middle size and co..."zy. Breakfast is excellent (if you are not found of a lot of fried stuff like pancakes, omelette etc). The interior takes you back to 18 century with an open fire. There is only one minus. When you comes back from skiing there is nothing nicer than a cup of the or coffee. Closed... between 16.30-18.00 and this is prime time. Between 13-16.30 you can have waffles, coffee and soup but who is here than ! Very quiet at night and people staying here are elder, few family with children and couples who like silence. " More >
