The rooms were rustic and comfortable and cleaned to perfection every day. We had a wardrobe complete with robes and thick soft towels for the pool. Each morning breakfast was served to an array of home baked crescent rolls, fresh fruits, cereals and yogurt, but experiencing Marcello's eggs was an experience. Our hosts provided us with an antipasto, bread and their wonderful wine our first night as we were too tired to go out for dinner. On our last day they made us sandwiches for the train ride to Rome. I cannot express how lovely the rooms are furnished and the grounds meticulously groomed. Every detail, every need met in the most graceful manner. We felt as though we were visiting friends that just couldn't do enough for us. Our hosts, Marcello and Terry, were warm, funny & always helpful arranging reservations for dinner, wine tastings and tours.
