  "This is not really a hotel, it is a lodge where meals are taken at a communal table and bathrooms are shared. On arrival we were a bit disappointed that there were just the 2 showers for the 12 people staying at the hotel, but it turned out OK really, you could run out of hot water though, I suppose..." that is to be expected in the middle of nowhere with electricity from a generator and wood fired heating. But it was never cold in the house, also the outside clothing (coat and boots) provided by the hotel were excellent. The rooms are basic but clean, most have bunk beds, but there were two rooms with a small (1.40m wide) double bed.The food (meals are included is home-style cooking, roast reindeer, elk stew, the fish we caught going ice fishing, all served with simple vegetables and potatoes or pasta or rice.   "I stayed one night in March 2013. I guess that the buildings are from 1970's, but the hotel is in good condition and feels like a modern hotel.   "My partner and I stayed here as part of a tour group of eleven people. On arrival we were shown to our room, which was a terraced cabin facing the main lodge and a lake in the distance. The room itself had two twin beds (which we pushed together to get a double), a small table and sofa bed; together with hooks for coats and clothes. It is designed for its cold climate and we did not get cold in the room; if anything we got too hot as the underfloor heating controls were a bit of a challenge to get used to. There was also a boot drier, which looked a cross between a wall mounted fan heater and a hoover, but it did the job of drying out sweaty moon boots, which was essential in the minus 30 degrees we had to contend with when out.
