  "I used the Catinat Fleuri on the first night of a mulit day hike in the Queyras, in early September 2012. Nice hotel, very reasonably priced, nice restaurant, where I had lunch. Breakfast. Simple, but very good. Patricia, the landlady lovely person. They even let me leave my convertible car, und..."er cover in their garage, while I was away hiking for the week. I liked it so much that at the end of my hike, I drove to Nice to pick up my wife, and we returned to Guillestre for another night! Guillestre is a lovely wee toon.!   "Nina and I picked this hotel from the Internet as one of the few available in Guillestre. I called and was promised a discount for motorbike riders ('motards' in French). We got a 10 Euro discount indeed. Unfortunately the price advertised was Per Person and not Per Room as we thought we read from t..."he price list. In spite of the hefty price tag (170 Euros for two days instead of 85 as we thought) the hotel is good, food is excellent and the people are very friendly. We didn't try the swimming pool, but there is one. Also enough room around the house and a covered place (garage under the hotel) for the motorbikes. Not locked, though. The road up to the hotel is VERY steep and needs some careful riding. With our GPS it was easy to find and within walking distance of the little town center. Guillestre is a great base for some fabulous alpine riding and we will be back there next year I am sure ! " More >

The hotel is good clean and tidy, food is excellent and the service is excellent. If you have heavy kit the lift service is good.
