A slight concern at check in when my western credit card was refused but at check out payment was accepted with no problem, I assume an incorrect key press somewhere, but I know in a lot of China my card is refused. Very quite hotel in a lovely part of town with the moon river outside with lots of places to walk, shop and eat. The staff were wonderfully attentive and as soon as I approached one they called over one that spoke English before I opened my mouth. There are, however, a couple of things that I would warn other travellers to be aware of, the staff speak very limited English and it can take a while to make yourself understood and understand what you are being told in return. Having said that once this is done they really couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel backs on to a very popular and lively bar street. It's a great place to head out to for food, bars and local hospitality but be aware that the merriment can be heard across the hotel throughout the night.
