  "Great hotel but strange set up"
  "Wow what a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. We stayed for 4 nights to try and get a true feel of Borobudur and its surroundings. The hotel is delightful as is its location right next to Borobudur however there is something lacking. The hotel appears to only be set up for one night stays f..."or tour groups. The coffee shop does not open during the day to sell coffee and cakes it is only used for breakfasts. The main restaurant has a very small choice of meals (which are very good) so after 2 nights we were looking for somewhere else to eat. The hotel also does not appear to have a tour desk to sell day trips. Overall this is a wonderful hotel from which to visit Borobudur but don’t stay for too long as it is not set up for long stays (this can be said for all of Borobudur town) " More >

  "Peace at one of the most magnificant buildings of Indonesia"
  "I pasted by rumah dharma before (august 2011), when we were visiting Borobudur temple. But, at the time, we only ate lunch there. They showed us the rooms and the environment and I new I had to come back and stay longer. So, in august 2012, I visited rumah dharma for the second time and stayed three..." days. I didn't even visited the temple again, because the entrance fee had gone up again. I climbed mountains, walked in the environment of the villages, borrowed cycles from the hotel, watched beautiful sunsets and sunrises, had great talks with the owners, ... I was never bored. If you step out of your room, you see nothing but ricefields, when the sun is down, everything is black without any sound (except that of many mosques during ramadhan). The temple is about 500m away, but there is no sign from the overload of tourists in this peace of heaven. I would come here again, if I need an escape from bussy yogyakarta. " More >
