An excellent guidebook gives you all the information you need in terms of local shops, restaurants and excursions. Tenuta Chiudendone itself has an impressive infinity pool or you could simply relax in one of the huge hammocks under the trees. There are several walks from the villa offering wonderful views and Ombu is always happy to accompany guests. The apartment is very well equipped with traditional vaulted brick ceilings. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are of a good size and we found everything spotless. Francesco and Isabella are perfect hosts making you feel very welcome. We certainly hope to return. " More >

  "Absolute luxury in Tuscany"
  "Our family of four (with 2 young children) spent a fantastic 4 nights in Tenuta Chiudendone. The apartment was stunning and very spacious. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bathroom products and towels were luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed, including very good olive oil and wine ..."from the farm. Our kids loved the fact that they could run out and play with the very friendly dog, Ombù. They insist on going back, just to see him again :-) The pool was very nice, the kids had a dip, although we found it too early in the year. The grounds are very well-kept with a herb garden. The location was perfect. Secluded on a little hill with great views. But close enough to everything. We visited Pisa, Florence and Lucca. There are several little villages nearby with good restaurants. Francesco, our host was extremely friendly and helpful. He brought us some milk and cornflakes for the kids since we arrived late in the evening. He was there if we needed help. But we had ... " More >

The house is beautiful, good decoration and interesting books. The location is perfect, it is very close to different towns, the landscape is wonderful, the plac..."e is perfect to see the sunset. The swimming pool is wonderful. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and cleaning. The kitchen is well equipped, we really enjoyed to prepared delicious meals. Francesco is very kindly, we received a bottle of wine and oil as a welcome gift. Also, we enjoyed the companny of the dog Ombo. We hope to come back to Tenuta again.
