  "My husband and I travelled to the hotel Zeus from 2nd May until 16th May. The holiday was so reasonable that we did not expect a great deal but we were amazed by what we found. There is a lovely atmosphere here. All of the staff and owners speak to you and try to make your stay enjoyable. Yes, the breakfast was simple... fresh bread, butter, jam with either tea or coffee. Anyone who wanted a cooked breakfast could pay for one. The lunches were very good, especially the club sandwiches, all freshy made and reasonably priced. On Easter Sunday the family did 2 barbequed lambs for their friends and guests, completely complimentary and played Greek music which made it very special.   "Stayed at this hotel in May 2013. It is in a quiet part of Kos and is 10 minutes walk from the restaurants in Kamari. There is a beach in Kamari too but not the greatest beach for swimming although there are plenty of watersports at the far end of the beach. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool ..."though. Lots of sunbeds but most were rigid flat beds with no backrests. The rooms were of average size and were kept very clean. The room we stayed in had recently been refurbished. The bathroom was smallish but again had recently been refurbished. The front facade of the hotel up to the reception has recently been refurbished and looks really good, but there are a lot of steps to climb up. The owners of the hotel were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Air conditioning is an extra at this hotel so if you do not want to pay for it you will have to leave the balcony doors open and take your chances with the mosquitoes.   "Travelled to this hotel 4th May 2013 and after reading all the reviews expectations were perhaps a little too high. Undoubtably, one of the nicer hotels we have visited, the service and cleanliness were definately 5* and the views from the hotel were beautiful. Rooms were what you would expect of ..."a higher end hotel, however, the mirrors and lighting were not sufficient for anybody who could be bothered to dress up for dinner. Please note that the laundry service does not include clothes being ironed. Food was nice and a special mention to the manager of the Italian restaurant who was very helpful and aware of any potential problems. Ionut the waiter is excellent at his job. Both the red and white wine were ok as were most other alcoholic drinks. Buggy service was very good apart from arrival and departure days. Beach was fine if a little rocky. Lovely relax and leisure pools, genuinely felt 5* but the activity pool was butlins abroad. The sunbeds around the pools were comfortable... " More >
