  "We returned here for the fourth time after an absence of four years and were very pleased to find that the hotel had improved in most areas and there were many familiar faces among the staff. We stayed for two weeks at the beginning of May and had very nice weather the whole time. The hotel was not ..."fully occupied, therefore, there was plenty of space round the pool and plenty of shade on the beach. The only downside of staying in the low season was that not all the restaurants were open all the time. The highlight of our visit this time was in the first week having lunch in the outdoor Cuban restaurant which was close to the beach. However, after the first week this was closed at lunchtime and everyone had to use the main buffet or pool snack bar.   "We just got back from another great week at PCV. We were there May 12-19/13, and it was our third visit in the past year. It is now Low Season so a few of our favorite staff (Ricardo, bar cart expert, Jose Anthony, main lobby bar server) to name a couple, were missed. But all our other friends at..." PCV greeted us with open arms. Weather was perfect, with only 20 minutes of rain the whole week. There was several power outages in the evening but they were short lived.
