  "I visit Bacton 2 or 3 times a year, and bad experiences in local private hotels sent me as far as Norwich in search of my standard, 'safe' Premier Inn choice, but I will probably use The Royal from now on. A lot of money seems to have been spent on the rooms recently. They are to a high standard ..."now, comparable with, if not better than Premier Inn (TV is certainly bigger!). The rest of the hotel looks like it is undergoing a long term refurbishment, and if its to the same standard as the rooms it will be great. In the meantime a few of the old tired areas of the hotel still show through, which makes me torn between giving a 3 or 4 rating, but overall I am pleased I found it and will be returning for future business trips. I found the food fabulous, not cheap, but then not really expensive either. " More >
