Firstly the welcome was fantastic. We were greeted by an older chap and a younger woman in traditional clothes, and they couldn't have been more attentive with our requests or more patient with our poor and fairly slow German. Even though the older chap could speak English he didn't rush us and we are grateful that he let us work on our language skills, and it enhanced our night out. The food was excellent; and "OMG" the Steak Tatar was out of this world and I'm tempted to fly back, jump on a train, and walk up the hill bare foot, on my own for some more; because quite frankly we just can't get it right in the UK and this was perfect.   "My wife, son and I stayed over the Easter weekend in two rooms for a bit of skiing. Both rooms were spacious and the bathrooms clean and modern. The modern double room looked south and so had lovely views and a balcony. The more traditional single room was at the back and did not have a balcony. ..."Hot water seems to be an issue (according to the notices) and takes a long time to come through slowly. Facilities were good and very clean. However, the headroom in the "gym" is low and so my tall son could not use the treadmill as his head touched the ceiling. Food was fine but nothing to rave about. There is lovely walking direct from the hotel. However, to get to the ski slopes it is necessary to take either an infrequent bus or drive. Originally we booked as a group of 8, which was perfect for the 8 person apartment, however 2 more people decided that they wanted to come and conveniently the 4 person apartment was available. At first we thought that the 2 people would be excluded, but this was not the case, I was in the 4 person apartment and there is a lovely communal area in the 8 person apartment, with a dining table to seat everyone.
