A travel website has compiled a list of the ten dirtiest hotels in the U.S., which is based on traveler reviews. TripAdvisor.com representative, Brooke Ferencsik, talks about how they compiled the dirty hotel list. The New York Inn, in Manhattan, which finished 6th on list, has broken windows, mold, stains on the mattresses. The Sea Club Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, has damaged electrical cords, dirty coffeemakers, and mold in the mini-fridge. The Red Carpet Inn in Fort Lauderdale, which also made list, has a dirty blanket and stained pillows. The Tropicana Resort Hotel in Virginia Beach, which finished at number one on the TripAdvisor.com dirty hotel list, has blood on the sheets, a nail coming out of dresser, ripped items, and old soap in tub.
