Went with the family and some work colleagues for lunch. The food was simply delicious. I had the stilton and bacon burger amazing, the chips were the best I have tasted in a very long time. My son had a children's burger same great qualilty but smaller. All the other food that came to the table also looked good. Service... More

There is plenty of choice for either bar food or a meal in the restaurant. You can choose from the standard menu, bar snacks, reasonably priced... More

We have been regular diners at "The Grapes" for many years now.Often with friends and at least twice a month on our own. We dine out all over the north west and can honestly say that nowhere compares to "The Grapes". The quality food the great service and the ralaxing atmosphere (apart from the odd shout from the kitchen) are... More

We are proud to be regular diners at The Grapes after moving to this gorgeous little village back in 2008. The meals are always faultless, the service fantastic, and whether eating in the bar or restaurant, it never fails to meet the mark. Helen, Stuart and their manager Ian run a tight ship and provide consistently good service and food.... More

We have been visiting the Grapes about 5 times a year for Sunday lunch. It never fails to impress people who we take with us, the menu is kind of the same but with many variations everytime we visit. The Sunday 3 courses for £13 is superb value for money. Its always clean, staff are always helpful and the food... More
