Their focaccia is the best I have eaten. It does what it says on the tin. It is simple, good food. Good value for money.
We went there upon recommendation from local italian friends and it really worthed it. We choose to take our focaccia away and eat it on our B&B terrace while enjoying the amazing panorama, as the restaurant is located at the main road. The focaccia was extremly light, delicious, the best one we had during our vacation in Liguria.
Recco is famous for the Foccacia but the best we did eat at Manuelina! We didn't order it but our waiter told us to try it. We did and were blown away off the tast and crispyness of it. The cheese ... deliciuos! Try it overhere and you will always compare it to this taste and crispness.
Just the place for a plate of anti pasti, a plate of soup or even something more substantial in the heart of St Gallen. You can choose exactly what and how much you want from a great selection of cheeses, cold meats, loads of slads, pates,olives etc. Great value and handily situated for a pre-cinema nibble with friends.
This restaurant was recommended by resident of Genova. My first thought was: "What? Foccaceria?! What the hell should I eat bread? I want meat!"
