Grace Neill's has really risen to the challenge of providing top class food at a reasonable price. We had the 4 course meal for 2 for £50. There is not a huge selection but we both had chicken liver pate with sourdough bread for starters. It was delicious. I then had ribeye steak with green beans & watercress and a... More

I had the pleasure of dinner at Grace Neills on New Years day. I choose the Steak pie with a creamy mash - just excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My father had the plaice which was a bit hit. In general service was very good the food was freshly cooked and presented to a high standard. This is a local... More

Good food, but overrated. This place does lovely food a little fancier than other nearby restaurants. But it is overpriced and the atmosphere of the rear bar and restaurant is cold. But in saying that, would still go back on occasion. More

Went to Grace Neills this evening with my family for my mother-in-law's 65th. Our starters were delicious and we all were anticipating the same from the main meal but were very disappointed, cold creamed potatoes, reheated roast potatoes, carrot and parsnip puree that was not pureed, yorkshire pudding in name only, roast beef was tough and chewy and the gravy... Grace Neill's is [excuse the cliche] is like the Tardis. Tiny traditional front bars - as you'd expect in reputedly the oldest pub in Ireland - hide much larger more modern restaurant. We chose from the evening £45 per couple menu [including wine] and had a really delicious meal that included some local dishes. The meal was better than many... More

I visited Grace Neills on Sunday 6th Nov as part of a group of 4 adults and 2 children, we didnt have a reservation but rang ahead & they had a table waiting for us arriving. The staff here are great and really friendly. We all had the fresh baked breads with balsamic olive oil for starter which was delicious... More

Had a gift voucher and went with friends. A treat to be out without kids. Wasn't very hungry so decided to have the goats cheese starter as a main, so did my friend. Server did not tell us it would not make a good main. My husband had the special, lamb. The goats cheese starter/main arrived and we all looked... More

Thought we would try the set menu, £45 per couple which includes three courses and a bottle of wine! I was delighted that this was not an “early bird” deal and allowed us to eat out on a Friday night at 7.30pm! Although there were only three choices per course the menu was perfect for us. We both opted for... More

Great restaurant with a good menu choice and superb attentive staff. We went on a Saturday night and after the meal there was live music. The starters were good, the main courses excellent (I went for the seafood pie) and desserts were great too. Wine menu was reasonably priced. A great vibe to the place made it a very enjoyable...
