This restuarant was a 5-8 minute taxi ride from the Low-Rise area. This was our first dining experience on Aruba and we were not disappointed. Our servers were exceptional and answered all questions we had (as we never had the opportunity to indulge in Aruban cuisine). The outdoor seating is by far the place to dine here. It has a... more

If you are in Aruba do yourself a favor a come here! If you want true Aruban food...and you should, this is th spot! The waiter was so nice and made us feel like we were in his home! Order Keshi Yena, stewed meats and vegetables with a sweet taste smothered in gouda cheese. YUM! more

We went here simply because we had read that they were true Aruban flavor. The restaurant is located in an old house. We were seated indoors by choice, and a gentleman came over and explained the entire menu to us. Then he surpised us by saying that we could choose two entrees that would be served on the same plate,... more

We ate here last night by mistake- I meant to go to Papiamento's but got the two completely confused. They have a very nice outdoor patio, which is very airy and conducive to both small intimate dinners and large groups. The service (Luz) was the best server we have had on the island- so sweet and respectful. This is a... more

Gasparito is hidden off of a couple of side roads not far from the high rise area, but if you're looking for good food, much of which is authentic Aruban, then it is worth the trip. The food was excellent and was served in a quiet courtyard setting - an advantage of being off the main roads - and the... more

We dined here based on a recommendation from another couple we met from Chicago. The atmosphere was delightful with all the artwork on the walls. The food was good but not great. My fiance ordered a vegetarian creole meal and it was not flavorful or spicey enough for his tastes. I enjoyed my meal. The service was awesome. The wine... more

Located about a 15 minute walk from the Radisson (High Rise Hotel area), this was our first restaurant in Aruba upon suggestion from a local, and we were thrilled! Between my husband and I, we had stewed goat, homemade fish soup, scallops and squid in a puff pastry, kerry kerry (a local favorite: think chopped up fish with curry and... more

Gasparito has beautiful ambiance, excellent service and delicious food. We enjoyed this homey restaurant with local cuisine. The Keshi Yena had a great combination of flavors and we enjoyed the Kerry Kerry. Definitely visit Gasparito for a wonderful take on Dutch seafood. We'll be back for sure! more
