Our 3rd time in Aruba. Hadn't been to Matthew's before... our loss! Went twice on week of 10.24.09. Excellent decision! Service and atmosphere are great. Food was excellent: veal sweetbreads are fantastic; pina colada shrimp, ribs, and the chicken kabob are awesome... we rarely order chicken in restaurants, but the kabob was a huge hit... could have fed us both... more

The only thing i can say about this place is everything was amazing & pefect...... Had the time of our life there every night we were in Aruba. more

We went for breakfast and it was really great. I got the Aruban breakfast and I would have it again and again. They are also a great bang for your buck! You are also able to sit and watch the ocean in perfect view. A nice plus more

Had a great dinner here right by the beach so the view was spectacular. The food was delicious and so were the drinks! more

We had the opportunity to dine here on the last day of our week long vacation, we had a late lunch and wandered into Matthew's. We were one of two couples in the restaurant and just wanted something light to tide us over until our big dinner that evening... We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Matthew's. Dinner was a little on the pricey side but breakfast was good, plentiful, and a good value. Matthew's also has a good bar scene with plenty of happy hour specials. more

I think you lower your expectations for level of service when you can hear the waves crashing behind you. Noone is expecting miracles, I mean you are on the beach. But nothing would prepare me for the hour or so that would pass as we waited for our lunch at Matthews. And once the food arrived we were sorely dissapointed.... more

This is not a place that I would refer to as 5 star, but for ribs and a casual night out, it could not have been better. We loved our meal and the open air atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend Matthew's to any of my friends. ps....I think rib night was a Tuesday. more
