Good place for luch. We ate here at the recommendation of the dive shop in town and were not dissappointed. Of course everything in Bermuda is deep fried.... First person to figure out how to serve fresh grilled fish for lunch on the Island for under $20 will be a millionaire. Fish and chips and Shepards pie in the carribean? more

Ambling down Front Street in Hamilton, we wandered into the Pickled Onion after studying their luncheon menu posted by the door. The food was very good for the price in comparison to the other restaurants we've been to (although every food item here is incredibly expensive, $6 for a bell pepper at the grocery store). Went to the Pickled Onion based upon some reviews I read. It was in a good location and if you sit outside it has a nice view of Hamilton, but I would not recommend this restaurant. Ate here during in June during the evening. The restaurant is on the main strip in Hamilton and is often very busy, especially on the weekends or when there are cruise ships docked on the island. The food was average, (not in a bad way), and relatively inexpensive. The service was reasonably good seeming as it was so busy. more
