We actually stumbled upon Pikayo restaurant during our stay at Conrad. The 4 of us decided to try it out. Despite of late hour (10pm) we were promptly seated and taken care of. Throughout the meal the service was attentive and swift. I loved the option of Fiji water and the cover charge for it. I don’t understand people whining... more

Wilo Benet, the top chef in Puerto Rico recently moved Pikayo to its new location at the Conrad Condado Plaza. It is one of the finest restaurants in Puerto Rico and matches top restaurants in New York City. It is a fine dining experience with a wine list to match. The food is a blend of French-Mediterranean-Puerto Rican and it... more

Heard lots of great things but it was Monday and quiet. I sat at the bar as I was by myself. Not my best experience, a little disapointed as I had high hopes. I had risotto which was stodgy and some mofonguito which were great. The barman was surly but warmed up (when he saw I gave a good tip). more

My husband and I ate at the newly reopened Pikayo, now in the Conrad Condado Plaza. The restaurant itself is beautiful - very contemporary but not too cold. Service was very good, but a little confusing, it seemed like we had 4 different waiters all night long. The food was simply amazing. One of the best restaurants I have ever... more

My husband and I had high hopes for Pikayo after seeing Wilo on Top Chef Masters. The restaurant is lovely and well-decorated with interesting art pieces. It's actually inside the Puerto Rican Museum of Art, which we both found weird. What's weirder is that it's surrounded by a pretty seedy neighborhood. We arrived early because we wanted to walk around... more

Having been three times in under a year, we are no longer making visits, but pilgrimages. Each time has been a real treat. Highlights of this meal included an appetizer special of squid and chorizo in a light broth of cilantro, butter, garlic and white wine with slices of crisp green asparagus. A meaty and tender hunk of swordfish with... more

We just returned from a trip to San Juan and we had dinner at three expensive restaurants. Budatai, Il Perugino and Pikayo. Unfortunately we saved the worst for last. Budatai was great, Il Perugino was even better and Pikayo was disappointing. The atmosphere is very upscale modern but kind of weird because the art museum is closed and dark. The... more

My wife and I spent 5 days in San Juan for our 25th wedding anniversary and the highlight was our dinner at Pikayo. We arrived about 2 hours before our dinner reservation so we would have the opportunity to explore the the new Museum of Art and the beautiful Renzo Piano building that houses the museum and restaurant. The museum... more

I called ahead for our Wedding Anniversary, when we got there we were shoved at the end of the bar... The music was PUMPING and the atmosphere was everything but nice! The food was so-so but most of all the "NO-SERVICE or better yet the YOU'RE LUCKY I'M SERVING YOU" was absolutely more than I could take. At the end... more
