For a Spanish feel right there in Old San Juan, El Siglo XX is a must. Great authentic tapas - octopus, jamon serrano, queso manchego; anchovies in oil; a variety of soups - caldo gallego, fabela, the bean wonder. Staff is nice, dont hover over you. Closes about 9pm, so come early. more

My husband and I were walking around looking for a place to eat for lunch and we came across this place. Our meals were about $8-9 apiece. With one soda, an appetizer and two lunches, the bill was $23. I had sancocho with rice and beans and my husband had carne machada with red rice and beans. Everything was delicious.... more
