“A very poor dining experience”

I do not normally write reviews of restaurant's I visit but felt inclined to after a very poor dining experience. First of all, my party waited over 15 minutes before an acknowledgement from the owner/hostess. After further delays our main courses finally arrived (separate) 1.5 hours after our arrival. I've always stopped in Spaghetti Junction and the Bat cave when in Tortola. I love the new location, it has a great feel to it. Ten of us ate there in april while we were racing in the BVI spring reagatta. Great time and great food; and for such a large group (we were not the only large group) service... more

My husband and I stayed in Tortola for 11 months and this was one of our favorite places to eat. NO it doesn't compare to Italy, but it is the CARIBBEAN. The service was always friendly, the drinks ALWAYS good (I am a long Island Iced Tea girl) and the atmosphere always relaxed. The owners were always around and friendly.... more

If you are up to quantity you will not be disappointed. But as for quality in general or italian cooking in particular, there are major shortcomings. May be ok for BVI in comparison to others, but do not even try to compare to Italy, please. Just be aware, then is ok to go there, given the average quality of Tortola's... more
