My wife and I dined at Lobster Pot in our recent trip to Grand Cayman as the expensive meal of our trip. The good: The staff was very warm and personable. The conch fritter appetizer was outstanding and loaded with tender morsels of conch. The wine list includes a nice variety of German and Austrian wines in addition to more... more

We had dinner at the Lobster Pot. I had the trio (mahimahi, shrimp and lobster, my husband had the pot (lobster, crab and shrimp). Both were perfectly done and very delicious. I guess it just lacked in atmosphere because the service was friendly and perfect. It was too cold and there is no outside seating. You do have a great... more

The service was excellent, yes it is a little pricey but worth every penny, from the rack of lamb to the lobster tails and everything in between, we were a large party and everyone loved their food. We were impressed by their wine list !!!! more

As a value proposition, possibly the most expensive restaurant on the island. Food is acceptable, but certainly not world class. Atmosphere is "Howard Johnson's grade" and interior reminds me of the tacky tourist spots in Florida's Keys that haven't changed since the 1980s. Parking options and nighttime lighting are iffy. It's not on or near the beach. On the plus... more

overated place that is way overpriced. Received cold king crab legs and waitress got irritated to have to fix problem- mediocre food at best comparable to Red Lobster. Try the Aqua Reef on Seven Mile the fish is amazing. more

One of the best seafood restaurants. Had the "Pot" which was crab legs, Lobster tail, and prawns. Meal was perfectly prepared and very tasty. Service was great but slow at times. THe ambience could do with a little work especially since the restaurant is right on the beach by the ocean. Great other menu selections which I would have liked... more

If you are looking for a restaurant that has the caramelized onions with an aromatic infusion of rosemary, blah, blah, blah, this isn't the place for you. If you want good, fresh, striaght-up lobster, fish and seafood, this is your place. I started with their lobster bisque which was the best of those I had on Grand Cayman. For dinner... more

We ate here for dinner after spending the day in GeorgeTown. We were there right when it opened at 5:30 and had a seat right by the window. Our service was great, acutally, but we split an entree- the Trio (which had Lobster Tail 4oz, 3 Shrimp and MahiMahi 4oz..which I think was $38 CI), two sodas, I had a... more

This is a beautiful place to be at sunset. The food is great but a little on the pricey side. The service is fair. We ran out of water twice and waited about 5 minutes for it to be refilled and we were the only people there. But other than that we loved it. Very clean and beautiful view. Pay... more

The food was average. I ordered the mahi mahi blackened and it was very dry. My husband had salmon with a pineapple salsa which was very strong. The service was very slow and when our server did appear she was very rushed and impatient. We waited approximately 20 min before our order was taken. Perhaps we chose this restaurant at... more
