We recently spent a week in Cayman and were happy to find this little Mexican spot. Literally it is small and off the main strip, but with a rustic feel to it and great food. We ate there three times. The food seemed very fresh homemade (which we really liked), it was quite flavourful, filling and for a mexican food... more

Enjoyed the only place on the island celebrating the day. Had shrimp enchiledas, a spicy jalepeno infused marg and a snapper ceviche was awesome. Owner brought out some free carnitos, spicy chicken tamales and some fried chick peas that were fun. Tasted like spicy chestnuts. Literally stuffed. Place was playing Manu Chao. There were four of us great night!. more

My husband and I went to Agave based on the reviews. We had to take a taxi since this trip was all about walking and of course, this was just too far to walk. The whole experience was ruined by our waitress. I am not exaggerating when I had to ask her for a glass of water 5 times and... more

We went there hoping to eat at a true mexican restaurant only to be disappointed. Coming from California and being Mexican I can assure you that this isn't Mexican food. Usually the hole in the wall restaurants serve the best food but this one failed to do so. We actually had to order chips and salsa instead of it coming... more

We were looking for Mexican cuisine during our recent stay on Grand Cayman. Agave Grill was recommended at the place we were staying. Very pleased with the food and at a reasonable price -- you don't find this very often in the Cayman Islands. Watch out -- they are not joking when they say the hot sauce is really HOT!... more

This little (and I do mean little) restaurant on Grand Cayman was one of the best meals for the price our entire trip. The service was wonderful and personable, the food delicious and we left full and very happy. Our family of six tried a variety of dishes from tacos to burritos and no one could agree which dessert was... more

Really great Mexican cuisine, with herbs and spices that make the flavors unique. Doesn't taste like every other Mexican restaurant. The meat is choice has been marinated well and is tender and juicy. Nice Cantina atmosphere. Highly recommended! more
