A tad bewildering to see a sushi counter in a thai restaurant (one of the 7 signs of the apocalypse?)...the Thai food is acceptable quality, but far too expensive given the simplicity of ingredients. USD$8.50 for spring rolls? USD$24 for Pad Thai noodles? or USD$30 for Basil duck? We are not eating in Bangkok's Grand Palace here... more
Always fresh and delicious food, we've been year after year the service and food is always excellent . We wouldnt consider a trip to Cayman complete without a dinner at Thai Orchid. more
Good food. Expensive for what you get but I guess average for Cayman. I had wanted a whole snapper fish. They presented me with a fish head, remnants of a skeleton and a tail. On top of the middle part of the fish, they had stir fried bits of fish with ginger (too much ginger). Presumably, this was the same... more
We had dinner at Thai Orchard one night and the food was terrific - both my husband and I were very happy. They have several vegetarian selections and the service was great too. I highly recommend a stop there while on the island. more
