We enjoyed conk chowder and fritters, plus fried shrimp, rice and vegetables. With 2 beers and a tip, the lunch came to $75. It's a homey, informal family place, with toddlers running around. But entrees, ranging from $15 to $40, seemed overpriced for a place with little atmosphere. We walked off the food with a 25-minute hike back along the... more

We asked our concierge to suggest a local restaurant, and she immediately mentioned the Fish Fry, specifically Twin Brothers. We took the bus there ($1.25 per person per ride), and we were seated within 5 minutes, even though we arrived at 6:45pm. The restaurant reminded me of any other small local restaurant located near the beach (I live on the... more

We ate here but like Seafood Haven better. We found that the rice had too much oil and when we order Grill Grouper we think that they gave us snapper instead. Everything on the menu was a little more expensive than Seafood Haven and no AC or at lease it was not on. more

Went there in May of 2009. Had a very good local meal of conch, fried grouper and red snapper. Staff was very nice and service was excellent. Not as much spice on the food as we expected, but the peas and rice was well spiced. Got the 'guava duff' to take home for dessert, which was very tasty. Only issue... more

It is sad but when we finished our food that is when we realized that there were roaches swarming our table. Mind you our table is right next to the kitchen . Even though i food was ok we still wonder what we were really eating. I travel to the Bahamas quite often and this trip to Twin Brothers was... more

My wife and I were told to dine at twin brother for a local flavor of the Bahamas. Even though it was more set up like a TGI Fridays we went in. We were seated quickly but that's where the good experience ended. The waitress took our order. She delivered us (2) almost hot can's of diet coke which immediately... more

We went to the Twin Brothers Restaurant on last day in the Bahamas, our friends told us that we absolutely had to try it before we left. They were right, and we are so glad we didn't miss out on this place. The food was sooo goood!! We had the Conch Salad (island favorite), it was fresh and tasty! We... more

Food itself was so, so. However, be careful with using your credit card at this establishment. Additional tip was added on to the final bill after leaving the restaurant even though 15% gratuity was already included on tab. I called the restaurant to speak with the manager in which the cashier ask to take message because the manager was "not... more
