The take out pizza had very basic flavors. Basic sauce, basic cheese, basic thin crust. Nothing exemplary, except the price! We tried the Hawaiian, Cheese and Pepperoni. They are known for their Conch, maybe that's better? more
On an island like Eleuthera, it must be difficult to maintain fresh ingredients, but Mate & Jenny's does just that. The pizza is a thin crust, not for everyone, and the toppings and cheese have always been fresh. It's not a two for one pizzeria, but the food is good and the quality is consistent. alot of people rave about this place but i did'nt think it was all that. the pizza was like store bought, and the chicken wings were dry. would not eat there again . more
